Home is where the heart is. A beautiful sentiment. People generally take it to mean that our hearts remain at home. That would mean that none of us can truly embrace change, that we can’t shed our chrysalises. That, I cannot accept. As I understand it, wherever our hearts lay, there lay our homes. And the heart flits from one place to another faster than sound can convey. And that gives us infinity. Anywhere is home, and home is everywhere. We belong to the universe. As ridiculously infinitesimal we are, we still belong. And to me, that is the beauty of “Home is where the heart is.”
